RP Abrasives is a small, family-owned manufacturer in Rochester, New Hampshire. For decades, we’ve done precision work for the military and medical industries. We’re proud of what we make and how we make it, and we’re always glad to bring good people onto the team.
Who we’re looking for
We hire people who want to learn, do good work, and stick around. You don’t need prior manufacturing experience to apply. If you’re just starting out, looking for your first real job, or coming from another line of work, we’d be glad to hear from you. We’ll train you from the ground up and cross-train you across our operations, so you’ll leave here with skills that carry through a career.
What we offer
- Three-day weekends, every weekend. We work Monday through Thursday, 10-hour days, from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Start times are flexible when needed.

Our shop floor is relaxed. You can listen to music while you work and keep your phone with you. What we care about is the work being done right, on time, and to the standard our customers depend on.
Because so much of what we do is military and medical, our processes are precise and consistent. We’ll teach you how we do it and why we do it that way.
